We produce Vegusto vegan sausages in a very similar way to how they would be made in a butcher's shop: Except that our raw material (called "sausage meat" in technical jargon) is purely plant-based. The sausage meat (you can think of it as a dough) is produced using a cutter. Once the sausage meat is ready, it is portioned in a sausage filler. The sausages then have to be cooked and packaged.
Vegan sausages for every taste
Vegusto offers Swiss vegan sausages, which are very similar to traditional sausages and others are produced as one of the kind, created with flair.
Whether mild, spicy or smoked: Vegusto has the very thing for everyone! Enjoyed cold, fried or heated.
What is the most popular vegan bratwurst?
Absolute top sellers in our range are the vegan alternative to Cervelat (Knacker) and the vegan alternative to St. Galler Bratwurst. For those who like it a little spicier, we recommend our savoury vegan bratwurst, Pikanter Max.
Ob Burger mit Biss, herzhafte vegane Aufschnitte, saftige vegane Bratstücke, leckere vegane Schnitzel, veganer Fleischkäse, vegane Alternativen zu Hackfleisch oder einfach leckere vegane Bratwürste. Wir von Vegusto machen das alles selbst.
Almost all of our vegan meat alternatives are based on wheat protein, also known as "seitan". Seitan was developed over a thousand years ago by Buddhist monks as a meat substitute.
Seitan is a completely natural product made from wheat. Wheat flour is separated by water into its components starch and wheat gluten.
Vegusto's vegan meat alternatives are refined with additional - artisanal - processes to create products that meet all expectations:
full bite without being tough
round taste
well saturating
easy to digest
lots of energizing protein
low in fat
For our meat alternatives, we only use high-quality organic vegetable oils with a high vitamin E content and plenty of unsaturated fatty acids. Vegusto does not use palm fat. Instead, we use valuable organic coconut oil. It may be more expensive, but it is simply better for us and our environment.
