Homemade vegan "fish sticks"!

Make your own hearty vegan alternatives to fish sticks? No problem with the vegan fried slices from Vegusto. And unlike the products from the wholesaler, you know what's in it.

Preparation

Cut the frying slices into sticks about 2 cm wide.

Using a blender or knife, crush the nori sheet into flakes as small as possible.

Prepare three shallow bowls for the breading:

1st bowl: flour
2nd bowl: soy drink + nori seaweed flakes
3rd bowl: breadcrumbs

Dredge the frying slices first in the flour (also on the sides) and then dip them in the vegetable drink. Finally, turn the vegan "fish sticks" in the breadcrumbs, pressing the breadcrumbs thoroughly.

Fry the prepared sticks in a hot frying pan with enough oil, turning frequently, until golden brown on all sides.

Place the finished vegan fish sticks on a plate lined with crêpe paper.

Drizzle a little lemon juice over the breaded vegan "fish sticks" before enjoying.

Serve together with rice and a crisp seasonal salad. Ketchup and the fine vegan dips from Vegusto must not be missing.
