Ingredients for 6 Servings
6x Vegusto Sausages (e.g. marjoram, curry, onion)
500 g flour
1 tsp rock salt
1 packet dried yeast
300 ml lukewarm water
2 tbsp olive oil
flour to roll out the dough
Marinade:
100 ml canola oil or olive oil
5 g garlic (freshly pressed or powder)
5 g nutritional yeast
1 tsp rock salt or barbeque salt
½ tsp basil or marjoram, dried
¼ tsp black pepper, freshly ground
¼ tsp paprika
¼ tsp curry powder
10 g tomato paste

There's nothing like a fun vegan barbecue with friends. Next time why not bake bread on a stick over a campfire and fill with Vegusto's delicious vegan sausages?
Ingredients for 6 Servings
6x Vegusto Sausages (e.g. marjoram, curry, onion)
500 g flour
1 tsp rock salt
1 packet dried yeast
300 ml lukewarm water

Marinade:

10 g tomato paste
Preparation
Bread on a stick:
In a bowl, mix together the flour, dried yeast and salt.
Add olive oil and lukewarm water and mix until the dough is smooth.
Place the dough in a well-greased bowl. Cover with a towel and let rise until doubled in bulk, about 1 hour.
Start the fire of the barbeque and let the wood burn down to coals.
Punch the dough down and knead once more. Portion the dough into 6 equally sized balls. Roll each ball into a thin rope about 2 cm wide and 40 cm long. Wrap around a stick, closing the dough on the top end and not thicker than 1 cm.
Place end of stick over a fire about 20 cm from the coals, rotating it so that the bread cooks evenly for about 20-30 minutes. Be careful not to burn.
Carefully pull the bread of the stick. Spread some tomato sauce or some mustard into the bread and fill with the Vegan-Sausage like a hot dog.
Marinade:
For the marinade mix together all the ingredients and brush the sausages evenly.
Barbeque the Vegan-Sausages on a grill laid out with some tin foil, about 50 cm from the coals. Grill until they are hot and slightly brown.
