300 g No-Moo Sauce [Order No: 409]
200 g No-Moo Piquant [Order No: 409]
100 ml soya cream
500 g potatoes
1 litre water, salted
250 g Macaroni, Rigatoni or Penne
¼ tsp nutmeg
salt and ground pepper
Onion rings:
2 onions
50 g margarine or olive oil
Apple purée:
1 kg apples
200 ml water
3 tbsp sugar or Xylitol
2 tbsp lemon juice
1 tbsp cinnamon

Swiss macaroni is a traditional dish served with apple purée. Enjoy this delicious Swiss classic with the Vegusto No-Moo specialities.
Ingredients for 4 Servings
300 g No-Moo Sauce [Order No: 409]
200 g No-Moo Piquant [Order No: 409]
100 ml soya cream
500 g potatoes
1 litre water, salted
250 g Macaroni, Rigatoni or Penne
¼ tsp nutmeg
salt and ground pepper
Onion rings:
2 onions
50 g margarine or olive oil
Apple purée:
1 kg apples
200 ml water
3 tbsp sugar or Xylitol
2 tbsp lemon juice
1 tbsp cinnamon
Preparation
Peel potatoes and cut into 1 cm thick slices. Pre-cook potatoes in salted water for about 5 minutes.
Add the macaroni and together with the potatoes cook for about 10 minutes. Discard the water and drain well.
Pour the soy cream and half of No-Moo, Sauce over the potatoes and pasta. Mix everything and season with nutmeg, salt and pepper.
Mix in the grated No-Moo, Piquant and transfer everything into a casserole dish.
Add the rest of the No-Moo, Sauce to the pasta and spread evenly.
Onion rings:
Peel, core and cut the apples into slices.
Heat the margarine in a frying pan and fry the onion rings for about 5 minutes over medium heat until crispy.
Apple purée:
Peel, core and cut the apples into slices.
In saucepan add the apples, cinnamon, lemon juice, sugar and water and cook over medium heat for 5 minutes until soft.
Puree the apples and let cool.
Serve the Swiss Macaroni with onion rings arranged on top and with the apple sauce on the side.
