Preparation
Recipe for the fruit pralines
Break the chocolate into pieces and let it melt over the bain-marie. Keep the liquid chocolate warm. Roast the nuts in a nonstick frying pan without oil and set aside.
Chop the dates and figs with a knife and put them in a blender with the pistachios, salt and margarine. Mix everything to a sticky mass.
Now form 8 balls with a weight of around 20 g.
Place each ball one after the other on a fork and hold them over the bowl with the melted chocolate. Now use a tablespoon to pour chocolate over the balls one at a time. Place the coated balls on a plate covered with baking paper and leave to cool for 5 minutes.
In the meantime, chop the roasted nuts with a knife and sprinkle them over the pralines.
Chill the pralines.
Recipe for the date drink
Puree all ingredients very finely with the help of a heavy duty blender. This will make the drink lukewarm.
Serve the date drink lukewarm if you like it that way or refrigerate before serving.
Tip: If you like a chocolate flavour, add some cocoa powder or cocoa nibs to the blender.
