Cold Shipping

All our products are purely plant-based (i.e. vegan), pasteurized and vacuum-packed. That's why they can be kept unrefrigerated for a long time, which we also show on our labels.

Before we start shipping a new product, each recipe is subjected to an endurance test in our heating oven at 36 degrees for 72 hours.

Only if the product is still perfect in terms of taste and microbial quality afterwards, do we include it in our range.

No shipping in midsummer

We do not ship any of our chocolate products in midsummer.

Products with cooling recommendations in midsummer

A few Vegusto products lose their shape when they are shipped in midsummer. The reason is the coconut oil we use, which becomes liquid at over 25 degrees. After cooling, these products are again perfect in terms of taste and consistency, but the packaging itself shows that the coconut oil became too soft during shipping.

Therefore, in midsummer, we recommend shipping the following products with a cooling option

• [401] No-Moo, Herb / Basil
• [406] No-Moo, Spreadable / Black Pepper

Cost

The costs for refrigerated shipping are calculated per delivery and the number of refrigerated products.

We pack your order in a cool bag and put a frozen friendship tea in the package as a cooling element. The PET bottle thaws during shipping and the tea can be drunk.

Cooler bags and elements

Cool bags and cooling elements delay warming up most effectively and for the longest time, even if they don't replace a refrigerator, of course. Therefore, despite all precautions, we cannot guarantee cooled shipping with this option.

Warranty

The uncooled shipment of products that were marked with * as sensitive at the time of ordering is at your own risk.

There is no claim for compensation in the event of any loss of quality if shipping was selected without a cooling option.
